The Best Western Royal Plaza Hotel and Trade Center welcomes and thanks you for placing your trust in our hotel and staff who are dedicated to providing you with a Safe and Healthy stay.

Please know that the Royal Plaza is focused more than ever on the health and safety our guests and staff.  Hygiene and cleanliness are a top priority to us and with everyone's health and wellbeing in mind we have launched the "We Care Clean" program.

Our “We Care Clean” program includes heightened safety and cleanliness standards in 4 key areas:

1.     We have put in place enhanced safety practices at the front desk and in our lobby. We are minimizing your contact with our Front Desk agents - streamlining the check in and checkout process.  Practicing social distancing by ensuring a safe distance for interactions and we will disinfect all items and surfaces after every transaction, including your key card with the appropriate cleaning agents. We have removed lobby items that in the past would have been shared by guests (such as magazines and newspapers). Hand sanitizing stations have been placed throughout the hotel to use as needed for your convenience. You will be welcomed by one of our staff, as such; we are focused on the well-being of our staff ensuring they are healthy and have instructed them to not come to work if they are not feeling well. We have frequent wellness and safety training and stress the importance of wellness and a strict adherence to our safety protocols. 

2.     As most of your time with us will be spent in your guest room, please know that prior to your stay, your room will be sanitized, disinfected, and inspected.  Every guest room is sanitized using ultraviolet sanitizing wand and with an electrostatic sprayer in the near future. Every high touch point in our guest rooms will be cleaned with chemicals aimed at killing the COVID-19 virus; door handles, light switches, thermostats, desk areas, hangers, television remotes, alarm clocks, coffee makers, telephones, and all bathroom fixtures.  All housekeepers will wear gloves and masks to ensure everyone's safety.  All linens and terrycloth products will have been washed in chemicals and on high heat temperature.  Separate laundry carts will be used for clean linens and towels to prevent cross-contamination and all carts will be disinfected daily.  The room you stay in will likely have not been used for a period of 72 hours from the prior guest. Please note for us to follow the social distancing guidelines, stay over service will not be provided unless specifically requested - and if requested the guests will be asked to leave the room.  If you should need clean towels or amenities, please contact the Front Desk and we can leave them bagged outside of your door or in your room when you are not there.

3.     While we recognize the importance of providing you a quality breakfast when you stay with us, we have implemented a breakfast program that ensures the food you receive is safe and healthy.  We will be offering a “Grab & Go” breakfast option for our overnight guests. All items are prepackaged and convenient for you to take back to your room. Please visit our Front Desk to receive your complimentary breakfast to go from 6am-10am. Our promise to you is to provide a quality breakfast while respecting that your safety and well-being are paramount.

4.     Public Restrooms, the Fitness Center, the Business Center, and the Swimming pools when allowed to open, will be cleaned regularly on a monitored schedule, using disinfecting chemicals. The fitness equipment must be sanitized after each use. These areas will be cleaned on a closely monitored schedule every evening using disinfecting chemicals. Regarding our meeting space, all chairs, tables, and equipment will be sanitized before and after each use.

The All-Star Bar and Grill, the Restaurant and Room Service will be closed for lunch and dinner per order of the Governor of Massachusetts, Charlie Baker.
